Product Creation - How I Created My First Ebook In Just 3 Days

By Christopher Hall

Writing and selling your own ebooks can be a very profitable business. People have made thousands and thousands of dollars selling their ebooks. But a lot of us make writing an ebook such a difficult task when it really is very simple. Take a look at these steps I used to write my own ebook in just 3 days!

Step 1: Think Before You Start

Before you begin writing your ebook, you need to have an idea about what you are going to write on and what the finished product will look like. There is nothing worse than trying to write an ebook without any idea what you are writing about. Before you start writing your ebook, you should create an outline that lists the main points and sub points that you are going to include.

Don’t be that person that tries to write an ebook, stops and starts, changes subjects over and over, and then says they can’t do it. I went through that tortuous process until I learned the proper steps, and it was no fun at all.

Step 2: Start And Don’t Stop

There is no way I could have created my own ebook in just 3 days if I would have quit. The temptation is to “take a break” and work on it another day. The problem is that “another day” rarely comes, and you end up wasting all of the time and energy you put into your ebook in the first place. Once you start, just don’t stop until you are done. Believe me, once you have completed your ebook and make 100% of the profits each time you sell it, you will be glad you stuck to it!

Step 3: Edit and Re-write

Editing and rewriting your ebook is as important as writing it. A sloppy and tacky ebook will detract from your ebook no matter how good your content is. Here is a little trick that I learned – once you are done with the rough draft, set your ebook aside and come back and edit a few hours later. You need to give your eyes and mind a break so that they see what you actually wrote instead of what you thought you wrote.
