Sales Improvement Strategy #1: Begin With A Promise The very first sentence or two on your sales page should contain a promise. This promise will set the tone for the entire page. The purpose of your promise is to tell your readers what you and your product are going to do for them. Make this promise direct, strong, and believable. People will stay or leave based on how well your promise applies to them. Sales Improvement Strategy #2: Prove You Can Deliver On That Promise The next sentences following your promise should convince your readers that you can deliver on the promise you just made. A great way to prove that you can deliver is by giving people real-life example of how you have delivered in the past. 1-2 sentence testimonials work great to prove yourself. Before and after photos or descriptions prove your promise. Quick demonstrations of your product can convince your audience as well. Sales Improvement Strategy #3: Give A Call To Action Once you have given your promise and proven how you can deliver on that promise, you need to give your visitors a clear and definite call to action. You should tell them exactly what to do and why they should do it. Here is an example of a clear call to action: “Enter your name and email address below and click the large button to receive my latest book that will teach you everything you need to know to grow the largest pumpkin in the county.” In this statement, you told your visitor to sign-up, how to sign-up, and what they will get for signing up. |
