Many people are naturally lazy, or at best, are uninterested in spending a lot of time learning something new. You should key on this attribute early and often when writing your sales page. Tell your visitors that you have already done all of the hard work, and since all of the hard work has been done, all they have to do is reap the rewards.

Copywriting Secret #2: Write What Would Sell You

Write your sales page as if you were writing it to yourself. Don’t try to guess what others might like or what they might be thinking. If your sales page would convince you to buy your product, then it will convince others. Read your sales page out loud and with authority. When you are done, you should be convinced to buy your own product then and there.

People want to know what your product is going to do for them. They don’t care about anything else when it comes to reading your sales page. If you deviate from your reader and what they want, you will definitely lose that potential customer. Focus on the benefits and how those benefits will improve your reader’s life.

Copywriting Secret #4: At The End, Give A Bonus

Chances are that many people will read your sales page, get to the end, and make a decision. The reader may be very close to buying your product, but they might need that one extra nudge – and a free bonus at the end might do it. Build up the benefits of your product, and at the end, surprise them with even more!
