3 Ways To Market Your Website So You Get The Traffic You Want

There are millions of websites on the Internet, and yours is just a small grain of sand on the beach. And without traffic, your website will die a miserable death. How can you make your website stand out among all the rest and get the traffic that you have to have? Here are 3 ways that work for me. 1. Article marketing – right now you are seeing my primary method of driving traffic to my website. Article marketing is not the newest way of getting traffic, but it is certainly one of the most effective. When you write articles, you are putting yourself in front of a focused audience for free. You are also building backlinks from sites with high page rank which in turn gives your site a higher page rank. Getting these backlinks and increasing your page rank will ultimately lead to more traffic from search engines. 2. List building – if you want repeatable and focused traffic, you need to build a list. I heard someone say the other day that they get about 35% of their traffic from article marketing and about 50% from returning customers from their subscriber list. You need to write articles to build your first-time traffic, but then you need to capture your visitor’s email address so you can encourage them to return to your website. Most of your sales or return visits will come from your subscriber list. 3. YouTube – when I submit my articles, I like to see which ones get the most views and clicks. Why? Because I know that those articles were the most popular. Then I take my popular articles and create a short 2-3 minute video and put it on YouTube. Creating the video takes me more time that writing the articles, so I only want to use the best information on my videos. This is another way to get traffic to your website without doing a lot of extra work.
